Born in 1979, Johnson’s life is defined by his passion for two things: beautiful sports cars and music. Officially starting out his DJing career in 2014, Johnson is a lifelong music connoisseur – that’s why he has risen so fast and so much in a very short time – what others put years, even decades to achieve, this guy lives in the fast lane – in mere two years, JYAP has become a name to watch out for in the Indonesian EDM & nightlife scene. Having founded Samudra with fellow artist and friend Diana Dee, both now leads the elite squad of Bull Beat DJs. JYAP is passionate about all kinds of music, although in DJing, his chosen genres are Progressive House, Trance, EDM, Twerk, Trap and Psy-Trance. Having played not only almost all major clubs in Indonesia alongside fellow Bull Beat DJ Diana Dee, JYAP has also starred international-scale festivals such as Djakarta Warehouse Project, Dreamfields Bali, Invasion Jakarta and many more. The big clubs he has graced with his presence includes Jakarta’s Colosseum, Immigrant, Empirica, Fable, The Pallas, as well as Bali’s Sky Garden, Omnia DayClub Bali, also opening R3HAB and Dash Berlin at F3X Club Bandung, and opening Yellow Claw at Liquid Jogja. JYAP is set to represent Indonesia to play at ADE 2018 in Amsterdam, Netherlands in October 2018, before his debut at It’s the Ship Festival at Sea in November 2018. He has also released several original mix hits, including the infamous “Don’t Stop”, “Kill the Light” featuring Diana Dee and Raffi Ahmad – and the latest mix titled “Freedom”, yet another of his collaboration with Diana.
