JEEN SEIGO (JP)

Artist

In 2020, I became the first Japanese artist to release a track under "HELDEEP," a sub-label of Spinnin' Records managed by Oliver Heldens. In 2024, I achieved the remarkable feat of releasing tracks under "WALL Records" led by Afrojack, "Protocol Recordings" led by Nicky Romero, and "Gemstone Records," the HOUSE division of Hardwell's Revealed Recordings. Additionally, I made history as the first Japanese DJ to perform at one of the world's biggest festivals, EDC Mexico, in 2018.

I moved to Tokyo at the age of 20 and pursued a career in a band until I was 27, but the band eventually disbanded without achieving significant recognition. Afterward, I decided to become a DJ and began actively working in the industry. Feeling disillusioned with the Japanese club culture, I moved to Los Angeles (L.A.) in 2009. There, I met local promoters and gained experience in the American DJ scene, experiencing the future potential of the industry firsthand. After returning to Japan in 2010, I established a DJ school in my home. The school expanded rapidly, gaining media attention from television, magazines, and radio. At its peak, it operated in eight cities, including overseas branches, and taught over 4,700 students, making it the most prolific DJ school in Japanese music history.

Even after founding the DJ school, I continued to perform internationally, with gigs in the United States, Mexico, the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, and more. In recent years, I have collaborated with top melody and lyric production teams for artists like BLACKPINK, Red Velvet, ITZY, Weki Meki, LOONA, and Taeyeon, always maintaining a global focus in my work. I am recognized as one of the Japanese DJs and producers who consistently delivers results on the world stage.
