Jazzy D ()

Jazzy D (Derk de Koning) is specialized in working live with artists as a DJ. He’s been playing the piano since the age of 5 and has a great feeling for blues and jazz. He developed a keen ear for the right groove to perform live with artists in the DJ Live Concept. In 2001 he had a small hit with the track “Thru tha Roof” which reached the US billboard dance chart as nr 7. He was one of the composers of the famous soulfulhouse track Back Together with Hardsoul and wrote tracks for labels as Defected, Hed Kandi, Supperclub, Prana Records, Purple Music and many more. Jazzy D has worked with many big DJs and Producers worldwide and has performed around Europe with famous Sax Queen Candy Dulfer. With her father, Dutch Tenor King Hans Dulfer, Jazzy started the DJ Live Concept movement in 1997 in Club Roxy.
