Iain is an award winning and Emmy nominated Music Supervisor for film and TV. He has supervised over 30 feature films including Sam Taylor Johnson’s Amy Winehouse biopic Back to Black; the Wham! documentary; Cat Person for StudioCanal starring Emilia Jones & Nicholas Braun and Squaring the Circle (The Story of Hipgnosis) about the iconic album art design studio and creating some of the most recognizable album covers of all time; Eran Creevy’s Collide starring Anthony Hopkins & Ben Kingsley; Desert Dancer starring Freida Pinto; Debbie Tucker Green’s Second Coming (Film4); Funny Cow starring Maxine Peake; Made in Italy starring Liam Neeson; and Oasis: Supersonic about the Gallagher brother’s rise to fame from unsigned band to their monumental Knebworth gigs. Iain also supervised Asif Kapadia’s Oscar and BAFTA winning feature documentary AMY about the life and untimely death of Amy Winehouse as well as Asif’s documentary feature on Diego Maradona. Iain supervised all three series of the TV adaptation of Hanna (NBCUniversal/Amazon); all three series of Gangs of London (Sky Atlantic & AMC); Informer (BBC/Amazon); John le Carré’s multi-EMMY nominated mini-series The Night Manager and other recent TV credits include Guy Richie’s The Gentlemen for Netlfix; 8-part thriller Surface for Apple TV+/Hello Sunshine; Everything I Know About Love for BBC, based on Dolly Alderton’s memoir; Russell T. Davies’ 1980s set drama It’s a Sin about a group of friends during theHIV/AIDS crisis in the United Kingdom; and 1971: The Year That Music Changed Everything, a six part documentary series for Apple TV+ featuring the music of The Rolling Stones, Marvin Gaye, Sly & the Family Stone, Carole King, Aretha Franklin and many more.
