Gilad Woltsovitch (US)

Gilad is an experienced recording and performing musician, who shifted into tech aver 15 years ago and became an early web3 adapter, looking for ways to improve artist and creator financing. After completing his masters in music and arts in the Netherlands, where he became proficient in the design of systems that intersect between the physical and electronic/digital domains, Gilad has shifted his creative focus from music to technology and his work followed that paradigm. After studying, learning and developing tools for analog and digital signal processing, Gilad has leveraged his interdisciplinary approach and his enthusiasm towards compossible and modular systems, while building two startups over the last decade.

His first endeavor focused on semantic analysis for automated content curation; Publishing rights, and the intricacy of licensing or monetizing streaming content made it very difficult to sustain as a business model. After encountering Blockchain Technology in 2013, Gilad has become an independent advocate of decentralized technology and took part in many working and technical groups in 2013-2014 between NYC and TLV. After engaging with the Ethereum project in its early research phase circa 2013, Gilad has led the Ethereum Meetup groups in Israel for approximately 9 months before starting his own fintech (non blockchain based) company, Backed Inc. focused on data-driven risk analysis for real time credit decisions for millennials with short credit history.Today Gilad Leads the innovation team at Revealtor Labs and is focused on launching the ORiginal Works protocol as a decentralized protocol that any distributor, publisher or other royalties admin can leverage this tech and deliver a better experience to their rights holders.
