Gabija Liaugminaitė (LT)

Gabija Liaugminaitė is a project manager at Vilnius Night Office, dedicated to promoting night culture and broader cultural initiatives in Vilnius, Lithuania. As a cultural economist and musician, she has spent years studying the music and cultural sectors, working to create sustainable support systems for grassroots music venues. At Vilnius Night Office, she successfully introduced municipal financial backing for these venues, helping to recognise their cultural importance. Her previous experience includes working on the Open Music Europe project, which aimed to harmonise music databases across European countries. In addition to her role as a cultural policymaker and consultant to the municipality, Gabija is an active DJ, performing in Vilnius and beyond. Passionate about fostering a diverse and vibrant nightlife, she advocates for safe, inclusive spaces that nurture local talent. Her current work focuses on securing funding and recognition for venues that operate out of enthusiasm and a love for music, rather than profit.
