Farida Baalbaki (NL)

As the project manager of Amsterdam Open Air and Milkshake Festival, I collaborated with HandicapNL to enhance accessibility at our events. We already implemented features such as special parking lots, same-level entrances, lowered bars, special toilets with flush water, and stimulus-free zones, like we did last year only with an upgrade of our learnings from the past.

At Amsterdam Open Air, we introduced the Sit Down Café together with HandicapNL. This café provided a space where everyone, regardless of mobility, could meet and connect. This café was not only a place where people could meet but also a place where people could party, and a great success!
