Deron Delgado (US)

With over 20 years of experience in the Digital Music & Media environment in an entrepreneurial role, Deron Delgado has amassed an all-encompassing knowledge of music label management, digital distribution, licensing, artist development, event production, publishing, and music marketing strategies.

In 2004 he helped launch one of the world's first digital download music stores, Stompy.com. As the Director of Label Relations, he negotiated the terms to acquire an available catalog of over 1 million products and launched the careers of hundreds of unknown producers who went on to become world-class artists on major labels.

He continued his musical path by launching the US-based sister company to Paradise Entertainment & Distribution, a leading independent digital music distributor and label services company based in Berlin. As the Managing Director for Paradise Americas, he amassed a portfolio of hundreds of labels and content providers in over three dozen countries.

In 2015, his proven expertise landed him the role of Label Manager at Mixmag's 2017 "Label of the Decade", DIRTYBIRD. Managing all the day-to-day responsibilities and team of the esteemed label and publishing company, including the talent buying for the revered events, Dirtybird Campout, Dirtybird CampINN, Dirtybird BBQs and more, Deron continues to execute the vision of the musical trendsetter.

The latest step in his career sees him in the position of Director of Operations/A&R - Dance at the independent label and distro giant, EMPIRE, where he has helped launch a new division of the storied company. By signing of some of the biggest names in the genre, Aluna’s Noir Fever, The Martinez Brothers, Night Tales, Soul Clap, Salome Le Chat and MJ Nebreda, the diversity and talent brought to the table has laid the foundation for a new standard of excellence in the electronic music space.
