Daniel Glass is Founder/President of Glassnote Entertainment Group, a full service independent music company which began in 2007. Glassnote Entertainment Group includes Glassnote Records and Insieme Music Publishing. Insieme is a boutique publishing company with writers including Jeremy Messersmith, Brad Oberhofer, GIVERS, Peter Kirk, Robert DeLong, HOLYCHILD, Tor Miller, Deap Vally, Madisen Ward and the Mama Bear, Half Moon Run, Jonny Wright, Rory Andrew and Odd Martin, with offices in New York, Los Angeles and London.  Daniel began his musical career as a DJ at the famed Regine's Discotheque in New York City. He went on to SAM Records and continued at Chrysalis, then SBK Records. Daniel’s path in music led him to become President/CEO of EMI Records Group N.A., the founding President of Universal and President of Artemis Records before eventually starting Glassnote. Daniel Glass' career in the music industry has been marked by such success stories as artists Billy Idol, Wilson Phillips, Sinead O'Connor, Blur, Jesus Jones, Erykah Badu, The Pretenders, Pat Benatar — just to name a few. In 2013, Daniel was named as MUSExpo’s ‘International Music Person of the Year’ and SESAC honored Daniel as the 2013 ‘Music Visionary of the Year.’ Daniel was also featured as one of ‘Pop’s Top Hitmakers’ by Hollywood Reporter and part of Billboard’s ‘Power 100’ in 2013, 2014 and 2015. Daniel won MUSExpo’s International A&R Executive of the Year in April 2014. In December, 2015, Glass was named a Chevalier De L’Ordre Des Arts Et Des Lettres by the French Minister of Culture. Daniel, an avid runner, has completed over 20 New York Marathons and ran the Boston Marathon in 2010. Daniel is a Founding Board member of LIFEbeat, the music industry’s AIDS organization, the Vice President of the New York Music For Youth Foundation, Vice Chair of the UJA Entertainment Division, former trustee of the Dalton School and ten year development chair, a Board Member of the Brooklyn College Foundation and a Board Member for the T.J. Martell Foundation.
