Cristian is a DJ that lives, breathes and nourishes from electronic music: “the sounds move the soul and if they are well conjugated they move the body and soul”. Since this Chilean, raised in Alicante in Spain started spinning records when he was 14 years old at a friend ́s pub, he held on to music with teeth and nails and has devoted his life to share with the public the joy and satisfaction that djíng gives him. “Being a DJ and producer give me happiness: the sounds produce that magic energy that only can provide well produced and mixed music”. In times when technology and social media make it easier for new DJ ́s to appear on the scene every day, only a few are able to prove that they are artist material (and being successful doing so). Godoy in one of them: playing only for the public, and not for him. Among his varied musical repertoire and exquisite taste at the moment of selecting tracks, he’s always able to create sessions that keep the dance floor and the crowd popping: “I always make my sets looking to move the dance floor, they are not sets closed to only one style, even though I opt for Deep my satisfaction is watching people enjoy as much as I do.” Not in vain, or out of luck, he’s got so much experience and dancefloor psicology on his back. Playing in renowned clubs in Spain in the world such as Buddha Bar in Milan, Fox Congo in Valencia, Hotel me & Elephant Club in Barcelona, Sweet Pacha in Sitges, T-­‐‑Club in Madrid, Privilege in Benidorm, the Pacha Hotel in Ibiza, Club Camelot in Tokyo just naming a few, and music festivals such as Ade (Amsterdam’s Dance Event) and Mojacar. Being able to stay with his feet on the ground, constantly searching for ways to grow musicaly exploring new sounds, and always with that witty smile that characterizes him on his face, Cristian Godoy spreads his joy anywhere he starts playing without forgetting his professionalism and 110% dedication to music. It might be because of that, and also because he hunts for the ovation of the public and keeping them with their hands up in the air, that you can currently find him as the resident DJ for the third year in a row playing house & nu disco with his unmistakable latin touch, funky and elegant grooves, at the only club in the world inside an airport Café del Mar Ibiza Airport.
