Claudia Walraven (NL)

Claudia Walraven is a sustainability expert at Green Events, supporting events in sustainable event management and facilitating multistakeholder projects with the city of Rotterdam and Den Hague in collaboration with local organisers to share knowledge and guide the group into sustainable and social practices.

Her background and experience (15 years) are in the production of various major music festivals, and she still has a great passion for this. She has specialized in sustainability with great dedication for almost 10 years.

'I see sustainable festivals and events as the ideal start to a more sustainable society. 
They are mini societies where (innovative) sustainable solutions can be tested in real terms and where at the same time a seed can be planted in people's consciousness. In addition, I see festivals as a testing ground for urban innovation and transition.’
