Chris Kaeser (FR)
Artist
Chris Kaeser was born in France. With both of his parents established musicians, he started his musical odyssey from an early age. Chris has been producing music since 1988, releasing his first disc in 1991 and produced numerous titles with his nephew David Kaeser and fellow French star Antoine Clamaran throughout the 90’s.
After a short break, Chris returned in 2004 with a release on Electron Records under the moniker ‘Black Widow’. Determined to build on this success, Chris continued on Pool E Music with a first EP “Nightlife,” which included the hit ‘Over’ which stayed at No.1 on the Beatrport chart for 5 weeks. Following this came ‘Boogie Star’, ‘Harmony’ and remixes for the likes of Da Hool, DJ Rooster & Sammy Peralta, Funky People, Laurent Pautrat and many more.
Fast forward to 2005 and Chris’ career continued full steam ahead with ‘Modulove / Sun Is Gonna Shine’ on Unick Records, supported by leading international DJs including Erick Morillo, Benny Benassi, Junior Jack and H.C.C. Romero. His next release on Unick was ‘Atomic Control’, co-produced with Antoine Clamaran and championed by the likes of StoneBridge. Stepping up a gear, in 2006 this talented and prolific producer released over 12 tracks on leading house labels such as Avenue Recordings, Hatiras’ Blowmedia and StoneBridge’s StoneyBoy Music. His biggest hit ‘Nino’ was No.1 for three consecutive months on top French download site 4DeeJays.
2006 also saw Chris establishing his own label ‘D-Tracks’, with heavyweight releases from Ian Carey, StoneBridge, Macca, Seamus Haji, Robbie Rivera, Thomas Gold, Arno Cost, Wawa, Henrik B, K-Klass, DLG amongst others.
Notably, Chris released his own international breakthrough track ‘I Feel Fire’ featuring Linda Newman and launching an international tour schedule that took him around the globe from Hollywood to Amsterdam, Barcelona to Miami, Israel, Poland, Moscow and more.
Chris’ career has continued its skyrocket trajectory both at home in France where he is a regular on the club circuit and nationwide on radio FG, and internationally with the release of more quality tracks including ‘The Weekend’ and again hitting the top of the charts with ‘Ulysse’, featuring the talents of vocal superstar Max C. The follow up releases include not only a return to his roots with new tracks on both Atomic and Pool E Music, but also the Chris Kaesar debut artist album through a French major record label. In January 2009, his remix of "Kim Jofferey - Take me there" was #1 on the Beatport house chart for 5 weeks.
With such a strong musical pedigree and so many accomplishments already to his credit, expect much, much more in the coming years from this supremely talented artist.
