Chris Delahouse ()

Born and living in Paris, Chris, aka Chris Delahouse has discovered his passion for music quite young, at 14 years old.

His first Walkman played a mixtape of Soul Disco Funk and he immediately got in phase with that genre of tunes.

Over the time, he possesses now a private collection of 5,000+ LPs from Soul , Disco, and Funk Hip Hop to New Jack and Dance Music in the early 90’s.The House Music drew his attention when he came back from Ibiza in 1995.The following year confirmed this preference with another season at Ibiza, few experiences of House parties at LE Palace in Paris and Ministry Of Sound as well as The End in London.In 1997 he has participated in parties organised by Cathy and David Guetta at Les Bains in Paris, where he met well known artists from the likes of Todd Terry, Armand Van Helden, Mouse T, Ultra Naté, Cassius, Boy George, Claude Monnet and more.

Chris’s music is also influenced by famous artists such as Masters at Work, Kerri Chandler, Dennis Ferrer, Dj Spinna, Danny Krivit, Joey Negro, Frankie Knuckles, David Morales, and Dj Sneak. These artists have continued to inspire his sets/gigs during Club sessions till his first permanent residency at the Duplex/ Durand Dupond in Paris.In 2008 he has joined Deepinside as a DJ Resident and a Business Relations Manager. The project gave him the opportunity to perform during Deepinside Sessions at the Queen Club in Paris alongside artists like Jamie Lewis, Grant Nelson, Roog (Hardsoul), Seamus Haji, Brian Tappert (Traxsource).

Chris also plays for Deepinside as Guest Dj several times all over France, Bulgaria, Portugal, and in the Netherlands.In 2011, 2012 and 2013 he has been the Music director and the official dj resident for the International Underwear Mode City in Paris.In 2016, he has performed during the Amsterdam Dance Event with Federico Luyo (Boss of the Label DoubleChesse Records), and with the members of House Of Frankie for A memorable Back2Back showcase.

Chris is a real polymath of music. He masters many genres from Rare Groove blended with Acid Jazz, Broken Beat, French Bootlegs of Disco, Soulful, Sensual Deep, Tech House to Underground House.He is also able to assemble his sets with some electric and sharp sound Vibes. He is capable to precisely perceive partygoers emotions and to seamlessly adapt to the venue. He has been highly rated several times on Mixcloud through his Deepinside Samplers in the Deep House, Soulful House and House Music categories.

Chris Delahouse is currently DJ Resident at Radio FG (Fr) and played for the 25th anniversary party of the Antoine Baduel's HAPPY HOUR emblematic show with Cerrone (Disco legend) Pedro Winter (Ed Banger), Justice, Agoria, Nataly K, Sam Karlson and more.
