German DJ Carsten Klein is based in Amsterdam, where he is one of the resident DJs at PRIK, presenting his Popsnob night once a month. His very first set was at Berlin’s famous Berghain Kantine – rather randomly, but, mostly, very excitingly.Spanning four decades of electronic pop, anything is possible between Kraftwerk and Kylie, New Order and Nu Shooz, Róisín and Robyn, Richard X and Stacey Q, Tiga and Towa Tei, Electribe 101 and Front 242… and, of course, the East End boys and West End girls.In pop, there is no guilt in pleasure!
