With well over a decade of experience in the global music and festival industry in various roles, he has built a career that began in sports and commerce.
Before joining Apenkooi Events and creative experiential agency Playground in '16, he made his mark working with local Amsterdam labels such as VBX and FORMAT, and immersed himself in Amsterdam's vibrant club and nightlife scene. His journey led him to Apenkooi Events and Playground, where he spent approximately 5 years before the acquisition by ID&T Group / Superstruct Entertainment. At Playground, he was at the forefront of developing and leading experiential marketing campaigns for prominent brands like Samsung, Diageo, Subway, Unilever, and Disney, and played a key role in managing the commerce strategy for global festival brand DGTL, among multiple other Dutch festival brands like Milkshake and Amsterdam Open Air.
Following a series of acquisitions by Superstruct Entertainment in '21— recently the world’s largest dance promoter, known for festivals such as Sziget, Sonar, Lost Village, ID&T Group and Parookaville, among dozens more globally—he now serves as NL Director Brand Partnerships Development. In this role, he oversees brand partnerships strategies and brand campaigns for the Dutch market, with festivals and events like Mysteryland, Awakenings, Defqon.1 and Zwarte Cross, totaling over 2 mln visitors annually. He is part of the EU team and is actively involved in shaping the future of cultural commerce, redefining culture marketing in the live entertainment space.
