“It all started from boredom and a common goal” said Brian in an interview describing how he founded Spunite, the most prominent electronic music event company in Taiwan since 2002. With a chemistry degree and pharmaceutical background, Brian fell in love with the underground electronic music scene when he moved back to Taiwan after two decades of residing in the States. Without any knowledge of event promotion and production, he plunged to dedicate his next 20 years to legitimize and popularize the scene. Spunite spearheaded in promoting various electronic music genres such as Trance and Hardstyle through events creating brands such as True2Trance and Black Party, and built music festivals such Sweet Party, Masago Beach Massive, Danceport and Galaxy. Recent years, Spunite has teamed up with international partners to bring the largest electronic music events on the island. What is Brian’s plan for the future? We will just have to follow to see.
