BodyBe (NL)

Having bonded over a deep mutual love of house music, raves and clubbing, sound artist Sven Hamerpagt and musician Otto Wichers (aka Lucky Fonz III), already long-standing musical collaborators, formed BodyBe, to produce dance tracks together that seem to effortlessly combine wide-ranging influences; from soulful Detroit techno to early melodic rave, through deep minimal and uplifting acid.


After enthusiastic responses to the tracks by dance floor crowds and DJs in the Amsterdam underground dance scene, BodyBe morphed into a live act with its own signature sound, blending intensely danceable beats with heavy acid basslines, emotional melodies and soulful harmonies, drawing inspiration from diverse acts such as Robert Hood, AceMoma and Karenn. 


BodyBe’s very first gig at Sexyland (Amsterdam) immediately turned into a legendary party, and they were well received at other underground raves, such as Rooibosch (Eindhoven). BodyBe's mission to seduce rave crowds everywhere into the type of ecstasy that only house music can achieve has only just begun: their performance at ADE will make for their first appearance at a public (as well as legal!) dance party.

To celebrate, their ADE show will coincide with the release of
BodyBe’s first single, the mesmerising track ‘Don’t think’.
