André de Raaff (NL)
André de Raaff is a veteran in the international music business. At 25, André became managing director at Warner Publishing Netherlands, followed by 10 years as President of Arcade, Europe’s largest independent record/publishing company.
In 2000 André founded CTM becoming one of the most successful independent entertainment music companies, now owned by André and his son Jitze.
In 2008 CTM was one of the first power houses that started buying music rights, in cooperation with Dutch pension fund ABP. André succeeded in creating the worldwide leading independent music publishing company IMAGEM in the shortest time ever in history. A groundbreaking and unprecedented achievement in music publishing. IMAGEM subsequently was sold to Concord in 2018for more than 500 million US dollars.
In 2014 André was honored by King Willem Alexander of The Netherlands as ‘Knight of the order of Orange Nassau’.
As of 2018 André is board member of IMPEL in the UK, an international organization of independent music publishers that collectively license their rights to digital service providers.
Since 2021 CTM created a new strategic alliance with Dallas based Outlander, with the aim to invest one billion dollars during the next 5 years in both publishing and master rights.
