Andreas Rizek (US)

Andreas Rizek started his career at SOCAN in the membership department, and quickly graduated to be the first hire for the newly created A&R department. Andreas was an integral part of the signing & repatriating of artists, songwriters & producers like; Murda Beatz, Jesse Reyez, Daniel Caesar, and more. He quickly found his footing as an advocate for songwriters & producers focused heavily in Hip Hop & Electronic Music. After 3 years at SOCAN, Andreas took an A&R role with Ultra Music Publishing where he’s gone on to sign, develop and work with a vast number of songwriters, producers and artists that cross all genres. In his time at Ultra and, more recently, also Helix Records; Andreas’ work has amounted to over 24+ billion streams globally across platforms, over 150 international Gold, Platinum & Diamond certifications, various Number 1 records and a Grammy. He currently holds the position as Head of A&R, North America for Ultra Music Publishing and VP of A&R at Helix Records.
