Ahmad Mel (BE)

AI/ML researcher and engineer, with more than a decade of experience in computational modelling, helping paving the way for events digitization and bringing a data driven digital eye to the mix. Mel boasts 5 years of academic experience researching sota graph data mining techniques part of the AIDA research group at UGent, and 3 years of hands on experience solving business problems as a senior data scientist, managing and developing novel models for sales prediction at the world leader in supply chain software company OMP. At Skik Analytics, Mel is using his technical skills to develop the current line of products, targeted mainly at event organizers, combining various data sources to provide them with valuable insights about the crowd behavior in real time, and to optimize attendees' diverse experience minimizing their wait time and maximizing the fun time, all while maintaining their digital privacy.
