The ADE Conference takes place in various locations in the heart of Amsterdam. Although we've gathered some beautiful venues to house our conference programs, they can provide challenges for people with disabilities. Therefore, this page entails details about what to expect in terms of the accessibility of the conference locations.
Besides that, below you can read more about the accessibility of the different ADE Info & Ticket Desk locations.
NOTE: The locations listed below are venues from ADE 2024.
The ADE Festival and Arts & Culture program are out-of-home productions, meaning that these events are organized by external organizations. Therefore, the accessibility of these events is not determined by ADE. Please contact the individual events organizations for more information on their accessibility.
Accessibility ADE Pro Conference
✓ How to get there
Felix Meritis is located on the Keizersgracht 324. There are several parking garages nearby: Parkeergarage Rokin, Parkeergarage Kalverstraat, Q-Park Europarking and Q-Park de Bijenkorf. Taxi’s can come to the corner of the street, close to the venue, for dropping off. Public transportation offers several options about 500 meters away.
✓ Accessible Programs
The ADE Pro program is divided over all the rooms of Felix Meritis, which are located on different levels. The following rooms are wheelchair accessible via the two different elevators in the building:
- Restaurant & Reception
- Concertzaal
- Zuilenzaal
- Shaffyzaal
- Teekenzaal 1 & 2
The building has a small number of mezzanine floors and balconies, making some areas less accessible. The Koepelzaal, Sterrenzaal and the balcony of the Shaffyzaal are not accessible via the elevators. Signing is provided on location for routing.

✓ Accessible Entrance
Guests with a wheelchair can access the building through the main entrance, where a ramp is available to be placed. Our staff knows about this and is happy to place this for you. The ground floor entails the reception, restaurant, wheelchair accessible toilet as well as the Concertzaal. From here, two different elevators lead to different rooms upstairs – there’s a lift in the front of the building (leading to levels 2, 6, and 8), and also the back of the building (leading to levels 1, 3, and 5). This information is provided in the elevators as well.

✓ Distance between ADE Pro locations
Felix Meritis located in between the two other Pro Conference locations. The distance to the ADE-entrance of the Andaz Hotel (Keizergracht 440) is 240m. The wheelchair accessible entrance of the Pulitzer Hotel (Prinsengracht 323) is 450m away from Felix Meritis.

The Pulitzer Hotel is located on the Keizersgracht (note: see Accessible Entrance below). There are several parking garages nearby: Parkeergarage Rokin, Parkeergarage Kalverstraat, Q-Park Europarking and Q-Park de Bijenkorf. Taxi’s can come right up to the front entrance of the location for dropping off. Public transportation offers several options about 500 meters away.

The ADE Pro program in the Pulitzer Hotel takes place in the Garden Room and is wheelchair accessible.
✓ Accessible Entrance
Wheelchair accessible entrance: Prinsengracht 323, 1016 GZ Amsterdam (this is the Pulitzer Hotel's main entrance)
The official entrance for ADE visitors is at Keizersgracht 224, however this entrance is not wheelchair accessible. Guests with a wheelchair can access the building through the main entrance of the Pulitzer Hotel. From the lobby of the hotel, there is a hallway taking you to the backside of the hotel, where the Garden Room is located in which the ADE Pro sessions are taking place. Following the hallway, there’s a lift that can take you to the level of the Garden Room.

✓ Distance between ADE Pro locations
The wheelchair accessible entrance of the Pulitzer Hotel (Prinsengracht 323) is 450m away from Felix Meritis and 650m away from the Andaz Hotel.

The Andaz Hotel is located on the Keizersgracht. There are several parking garages nearby: Parkeergarage Rokin, Parkeergarage Kalverstraat, Q-Park Europarking and Q-Park de Bijenkorf. Taxi’s can come right up to the front entrance of the location for dropping off. Public transportation offers several options about 500 meters away.

The ADE Pro program in the Andaz Hotel takes place on the ground floor and is wheelchair accessible.
If you booked your stay in the Andaz Hotel, the hotel rooms on other levels can be reached by elevator.
✓ Accessible Entrance
The entrance to the Andaz Hotel used by ADE visitors (Keizersgracht 440) is wheelchair accessible.
✓ Wheelchair Accessible Toilet
There is an extra large toilet available in the Andaz Hotel.
✓ Distance between ADE Pro locations
The Andaz Hotel is 240m away from Felix Meritis, also located on the Keizersgracht. The wheelchair accessible entrance of the Pulitzer Hotel (Prinsengracht 323)is 650m away from the Andaz Hotel.
Accessibility ADE Info & Ticket Desks
Address: Keizersgracht 324, 1016 EZ Amsterdam.
You will find this Info & Ticket Desk outside, in front of Felix Meritis at the Keizersgracht. The desk is accessible for wheelchair users. Since this desk is right in front of Felix Meritis, and close to the Andaz and Pulitzer hotel, it's the most convenient location for people who'd like to visit the ADE Pro Conference.

You will find this Info & Ticket Desk inside Het Groene Paleis.
For ADE visitors, the back entrance to Het Groene Paleis will be used: Nes 76. Unfortunately, this entrance is not wheelchair accessible. The main entrance of Het Groene Paleis can be used by wheelchair users.
Address main entrance: Rokin 65, 1012 KK Amsterdam.
From the Rokin entrance, you will have to go through the restaurant to the back of the venue, since Info & Ticket Desk is in the room adjacent to the Nes street.
The Info & Ticket Desk at Het Groene Paleis is close to De Brakke Grond and Lynk & Co, and therefore the most convenient location for people who'd like to visit the ADE Lab Conference.

You will find the Info & Ticket Desk of Amsterdam Central Station in the I amsterdam Store.
Address: De Ruijterkade 28 B t/m D, 1012 AA Amsterdam.
The store can be accessed through the various entrances of Central Station. The station is wheelchair accessible.
Are you coming to Amsterdam by public transport? This Info & Ticket Desk is the most convenient location for people who'd like to pick up their accreditation right after arriving in Amsterdam. From here, various modes of transport can take you to the ADE locations.
